Now this is possible at Disney’s Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Or at least the makeover part is possible – for issues regarding Prince Charming you are on your own.
There are two different locations for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Disney World – one in the gigantic World Of Disney store at Disney Springs, and a second location inside Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom. It is wise to call ahead for appointments since these boutiques do get busy.
Dresses
Disney will be happy to sell your little girl a princess gown for upwards of $200. However, you don’t have to buy the dress on site. Consider brining something from home that you already own, or plan ahead and get a terrific deal on eBay. A recent search for “Disney princess dress” on the famous auction site brought back dozens of options, from an Ariel wedding Gown for $40 to a Snow White dress for $11. And there are plenty of princess accessories available online too, including shoes and jewelry for $16.
While a dress is great, the main event at the boutique is the makeover, where your little princess gets makeup, hair, and nails done up by a Fairy Godmother. Packages start at around $50 and the newly dolled up princess gets to take home the comb and extra makeup from the experience.
Hair
You get to select from a number of different hair styles, each complete with hair glitter and some type of Mickey Mouse adornment. Some of the styles involve pulling the girl’s hair back and into a bun, which can be a bit much for some little ladies to handle. So think about how well your princes can handle the style after the event is over and she is walking around for a while with it.
Photos
Disney’s PhotoPass photographers are around to take both candid photos as well as posed photos. And since this is an event that most girls truly love and cherish, you might consider purchasing a few of the PhotoPass picture, or taking some yourself.
