Beaches & Cream is a beloved soda shop at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. This colorful diner serves up flavored sodas, malted milkshakes, grilled items, and the famous Kitchen Sink ice cream sundae. It is reminiscent of a 1950s American diner and is quite nostalgic for many guests.
Disney just announced that Beaches & Cream will be closing the restaurant and to-go counter on August 5th for refurbishment. A satellite location will be set up at the resort, but they will not serve the full menu – with the most notable omission being the Kitchen Sink.
Disney says that when Beaches & Cream reopens in December 2019, guests will have an improved experience, but they didn’t provide any details of the refurbishment. It’s unlikely that they will alter the atmosphere too much.
Beaches & Cream refurbishment – will you miss it?
