When Disney Springs was converted from Downtown Disney, one of the big draws was the food truck park. They’ve done very well, and guests really enjoyed the revival of the food truck.
Now, a new food truck has joined the lineup at Disney Springs!
The 4 R Cantina Barbacoa Food Truck brings food and culture from Mexico City. But the concept isn’t new. In fact, 4 R stands for 4 Rivers, which is the name of a local, family-owned restaurant chain in Florida. The restaurants serve up authentic smokehouse barbecue.
The 4 Rivers stand-alone barbecue restaurant is a personal favorite, and now so is the food truck!
There are currently 14 restaurants spanning all the way to Atlanta, Georgia. The chain is very popular, and one reason for this is that they are incredibly charitable. In 2017, they helped nearly 1000 schools, churches, and charitable organizations.
The new food truck in Disney Springs will be the first and only location to be open seven days a week. All other locations are closed on Sundays. If you make a purchase on Sundays, all net proceeds will benefit the 4R Foundation to continue to help these organizations.
Look for the food truck near Ghirardelli, Basin, and the World of Disney store.
So stop by for lunch or dinner any day of the week, and enjoy some authentic Mexican barbeque with some dishes that aren’t available at other locations.
