The Art of Disney Store, in the Marketplace section of Disney Springs, has a large collection of Disney-themed Thomas Kinkade artwork. They carry a large array of art by Thomas Kinkade.
Kinkade is known as the “painter of light” and is extremely popular. Some estimates state that one in twenty homes in the US own artwork by Kinkade.
Original paintings by the artist have sold from $10,000 up to a million dollars. While that puts these paintings outside the budget of many buyers (and outside the budget of this sweepstakes), the good news is that Kinkaid’s company still offers many high-quality reproductions of Disney-themed Kinkaid art at much more reasonable prices.
The Art of Disney Store recently displayed a series of Kinkaid canvas gallery wraps. In these paintings, Kinkaid worked to sum up entire Disney stories in a single painting. These wraps, where the canvas is stretched around the sides and is secured to the back of the frame, are available at prices ranging from $125 to $150.
