Disney's Boardwalk Villas

Disney’s BoardWalk Villas allow guest to make themselves at home in turn-of-the-century Atlantic City.

Adjacent to the Boardwalk Inn, the Villas sit alongside the lively BoardWalk with its constant variety of entertainment. Nevertheless, as one of Disney Deluxe Villas these accommodations aren’t so focused on the entertainment experience that they forget to offer the comfort and amenities guests expect from the deluxe Disney experience.

Studios and Villas

The studio accommodations at Disney’s BoardWalk Villas resemble a standard hotel room in most particulars. Rather than two queen-sized beds it has one queen or king along with a queen-sized sofa sleeper. It also features a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker.

The one bedroom villas have a separate bedroom with a king-sized bed, and upgrades the kitchenette to a full sized and fully equipped kitchen. The living room has a sleeper sofa, and the bathroom has a luxurious whirlpool tub.

The two bedroom villas come with two variations. They may be a single unit with two separate bedrooms and bathrooms in addition to the living room and kitchen, or they may consist of a studio and a one bedroom with a privacy door connecting the two. This second option is ideal for two families sharing a single villa, or older children desiring a bit of additional privacy.

The three bedroom villas, or Grand Villas, have a full three bathrooms and accommodation for up to 12 guests. There are also laundry facilities and a private balcony, and a cathedral ceiling-ed living area.

Dining Options

There are a large number of dining selections from which to choose between the two BoardWalk resorts and the lakefront strip. From elaborate fine dining to pizza by the slice, there is as much variety here as you will find anywhere at Disney World.

For signature fine dining, the Flying Fish Cafe can’t be beat. And if the already elegant and delicious standard dinner experience doesn’t cut it, you can always reserve the exclusive (and expensive) Chef’s Wine Tasting Dinner.

Disney Boardwalk Villas

There are amazing food choices within easy walking
distance of Disney’s Boardwalk Villas.

A similarly exclusive dining experience can be found at Kouzzina by Cat Cora, a Mediterranean-themed restaurant created by the eponymous celebrity chef. If you reserve the Chef’s Menu at CoraNation dinner at Kouzzina, you will be treated to a five course prix fixe experience that can’t be found anywhere else.

For dining on the more casual side of things, the BoardWalk has the Big River Grille & Brewing Works, a restaurant and functioning brew pub, or the ESPN Club, where you can enjoy a classic sports bar experience complete with burgers, wings, and beer.

Along the BoardWalk itself, you can stop at the BoardWalk Bakery for baked goods and pastries, Seashore Sweets for a variety of gourmet candy including saltwater taffy, and the Pizza Window for…you guessed it…pizza.

Recreation and Entertainment

There is always some form of live entertainment happening along the BoardWalk, and it is an excellent place to people watch or relax and enjoy the sights. For those who want a bit more structure to their entertainment, there are other things to do at the BoardWalk Villas as well.

The Luna Park Pool has a 200-foot water slide called the Keister Coaster which is good for hours of amusement on its own. There are also two quiet pools for guests who prefer to swim in a less crowded environment. There is a children’s playground located near the Luna Park pool complex.

Disney's Boardwalk
There are so many entertainment, shopping, and dining options on the
Boardwalk that many consider it a destination unto itself.

The Muscles & Bustles Health Club is open 24 hours a day, although it is necessary to obtain an access key for hours when an attendant is not present. The club has aerobic machines, free weights, massages available by appointment, and a sauna.

And Adult Theme Park

The BoardWalk has enough to do that it is worth spending time there in addition to the time spent at the theme parks. With all the places to eat and drink, and the BoardWalk entertainment, adults can truly have a great time here. Of course, there is plenty to keep children amused as well, and the comfortable villas are ideal accommodations for a family during their Disney vacation.
