You can find it in Florida and Tokyo. You used to be able to find it in California. What is it? It’s those down-home, singing, dancing, and all around fun Country Bears putting on their own Jamboree.
The Disney Company originally planned for the Country Bear Jamboree attraction to be a part of Disney’s Mineral King Ski Resort in Sequoia National Park – a project in the 1960s that never came to see the light of day.
Fortunately, good ideas at Disney never die.
The Country Bear Jamboree was an opening day attraction in the Magic Kingdom. The show now runs about 15 minutes and features 24 animatronics who entertain guests every day.
Disney released a series of trading pins honoring the many colorful characters in the show.
