With styles inspired by Disney Princesses including Belle, Ariel, Jasmine, Elsa, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White, you are sure to find your perfect dress. 2 – Plan (or Pretend Plan) your Dream Wedding Online

Disneyweddings.com allows you to plan everything from transportation to place settings online with the Dream Wedding Maker app. There’s no commitment, so if you’re not sure a Disney wedding is right for you, this is a good place to start. At the end, you can get a cost estimate and contact information for a Disney wedding planner.

3- You’ll Need a License and an Officiant

In order to get married in Florida, you will need a Florida marriage license and an officiant. Fortunately, Disney Fairy Tale Weddings can help lead you in the right direction. A marriage license in Florida is good for 60 days, so don’t apply too early.

4 – You can Arrive in Cinderella’s Coach

Talk about a dream come true, brides can arrive at their wedding in Cinderella’s coach! Your horses might not be temporarily transformed mice, but it will nevertheless be magical.

5 – Weddings Can, and Might Have To, Take Place Before the Parks Open

Do you dream of an EMPTY Magic Kingdom? Do you want to have World Showcase all to yourself? With a Disney wedding, this might be possible or even required. Ceremonies at World Showcase are scheduled for 9:00 AM and are often followed by breakfast or brunch. Even if your wedding occurs early in the morning, your reception can take place during the fireworks show.

6 – You Can Invite Some Special Guests to Attend

Mickey and Minnie will attend your wedding if you wish! They can even bring some of their friends!

Do you want your guests to have some entertainment during the cocktail reception? Invite the Tacky tourists who are actually comedic actors who will “crash” your wedding and keep your guests laughing and having fun.

Of course, there is an additional fee for these special guests to attend.

Other special guests can attend for no extra fee. If you want your wedding to be public, it can take place during normal park hours, and park visitors can witness your vows.

7 – Cosmetology Services are No Longer Available

Although Disney Fairy Tale Weddings no longer offer cosmetology services, they will refer you to a private cosmetologist. Most of the referrals used to work for the Disney Cosmetology Department.

8 – You Can Choose Whichever Theme You Want

As promised, here is information about a themed wedding. Disney weddings can be any theme you want including no theme at all. The Professional Disney Wedding Planner will assist with flowers, photography and videography, catering, cakes, entertainment, décor, characters, lighting, music or musicians, transportation, table linens, invitations, favors, and tuxes.

9 – You Can Have a Private Fireworks Display

You may feel fireworks when you kiss your special someone, but what about kissing during your very own fireworks show? Disney can make that happen! Your private dessert party reception can occur during Wishes or Illuminations, or you can have a private show for you and your guests.

10 – It May Be More Affordable Than You Think

The typical wedding in the United States averages $25,000. Disney weddings can be much more affordable than that depending on which package you choose. There are three categories including Memories (4 guests), Escape (18 guests), and Wishes (18+ guests). Memories packages can be as inexpensive as $3,000 while a Wishes package will be at least $12,000.

There are some things you can do to make Disney weddings even more affordable, though. Scheduling during the off-season, March, April, November, and December, or in the mid-season, January and February, and July through September, might save some money. If possible, have your wedding on a weekday Monday through Thursday and before 2:00 PM when the minimum food purchase requirement is less.
